Pixel LED Lighting

What is it and how does it work: Advanced lighting components where each LED contains an integrated circuit (IC). This IC allows the LED to be individually addressed and controlled via a digital signal, meaning you can change its color, brightness, and timing independently from others on throughout the lighting strip, or array. Pixel lighting provides a wider dynamic in color effects, animations, and precise lighting control across your installations.

Residential Outdoor Lighting

GOVee Outdoor Lighting Image 1 Web.jpg

Outdoor String Lights

Govee manufactures a wide range of smart LED lighting, outdoor fixtures, entertainment lighting, gaming lights, and a growing line of smart appliances, including AC‑powered and AC‑controlled devices such as AC outlets, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, ice makers, and water alarms. Their ecosystem centers on app‑driven control, RGBIC lighting effects, and Matter/Alexa/Google compatibility. What is RGBIC lighting? RGBIC lighting refers to LED technology that allows independent control of each color zone along a strip. Instead of every LED showing the same color at the same time—as is the case with standard RGB—RGBIC systems let different portions of the strip display their own colors simultaneously. This enables flowing gradients, multi‑color animations, and more complex visual effects. Website: Click Here

Commercial Lighting

Commercial automation lighting includes a range of intelligent hardware and control systems, such as relay panels, room controllers, occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting dimmers, and PoE-enabled fixtures designed to optimize energy efficiency, enhance user comfort, and integrate seamlessly with building management systems and easy access to switches, controls for users at each location.

Lighting Control Hardware Systems

  • Dimmers & Switches: Manual or automated brightness control.

  • Occupancy/Vacancy Sensors: Automatically turn lights on/off based on room usage.

  • Daylight Harvesting Sensors: Adjust lighting based on natural light levels.

  • Time-Based Controllers: Schedule lighting for energy savings and security.

  • Smart Lighting Hubs: Centralized control via apps or building management control systems.

Daylight Harvesting

Daylight harvesting leverages natural light through sensors and controls to optimize artificial lighting, reduce energy consumption, and enhance indoor environments.

How Daylight Harvesting Works

  • Sensors: Photocells continuously monitor the amount of natural daylight entering a space.

  • Controls: Automated lighting systems adjust—dimming or switching off electric fixtures—when daylight provides adequate illumination.

  • Balance: The system ensures consistent lighting by maintaining recommended levels (e.g., ~500 lux in office environments).

  • Integration: Often combined with occupancy sensors and building management platforms to maximize efficiency and energy savings.

Key Components

  • Photocells / Light Sensors that detect daylight levels. Typical applications include offices, lobbies, classrooms and retail locations.

  • Lighting Control Systems that adjust fixtures automatically.

  • User Interfaces that allow manual overrides or adjustments.

  • Networked Infrastructure that integrates with AV, automation, or smart building systems.

Real-World Applications

  • Commercial Offices: Maintain consistent desk-level lighting while reducing overhead costs.

  • Educational Facilities: Enhance learning environments with natural light.

  • Retail Spaces: Improve ambiance while lowering energy usage.

  • Smart Buildings: Integrates with automation systems for holistic energy management.

Benefits

  • Energy Savings: Can reduce lighting energy consumption by up to 50%.

  • Sustainability: Supports green building certifications (LEED, WELL).

  • Comfort & Productivity: Provides consistent, natural illumination that improves occupant well-being.

  • Cost Efficiency: Lower utility bills and reduced maintenance from less frequent use of electric lighting.
